Where to build it
Elementor → Templates → Theme Builder → Single Post → Add New. Name it “Equip — Single Post.” Start from blank (not a pre-made kit) so it matches the brand.
Display condition (set at publish): Include → Singular → Posts (all posts). This makes it the default layout for every blog post.
Preview with: set the preview to an existing post so dynamic content shows while you build. Use the rebrand post once it’s added as a Post.
Structure, top to bottom
Build in a single centred column. Recommended content width ~760–820px for comfortable reading (body text shouldn’t run full width).
- Breadcrumbs — AIOSEO breadcrumbs (shortcode widget or the AIOSEO breadcrumb widget). Small, muted. Aids navigation + SEO. Optional but recommended.
- Post Title — Elementor Post Title widget (dynamic; pulls the post’s H1). Use the brand sans heading font, not the hero script. This is the page H1, so only one per template.
- Post meta row — Post Info widget: Author (Cherie Balla), Published date, and Category. Keep it to one subtle line. Link the author to the author archive and the category to its archive.
- Featured Image — Featured Image widget (dynamic). Contained width, rounded corners if that matches the brand. Add spacing below.
- Post Content — Post Content widget. This renders everything written in the native editor (the body copy plus the AIOSEO FAQ block). Set the base typography here:
- Body ~18px, line height ~1.6–1.7
- Headings (H2/H3) in the brand sans, navy
- Links in the brand accent (blush/terracotta), underlined on hover
- Generous paragraph spacing
- Author box (E-E-A-T) — Author Box widget: Cherie’s photo, name, short bio, link. This is your authority signal, keep it on every post.
- CTA block — one calm, on-brand call to action section. Keep it soft (Equip voice, not a hard sell). Suggested copy: Not sure whether it’s your message or your look that needs to change? That’s worth a conversation before you spend on either. [Book a strategy call →] Style as a contained band in a brand colour. This is a global block you can reuse; edit copy once, updates everywhere.
- Related posts — Loop Grid (or Posts) widget, set to pull 3 posts from the same category as the current post, excluding the current one. This builds your topic clusters and internal links automatically. Card = featured image + title + category.
